Jennie of the girl group BLACKPINK has donated about 10 million yen to help with forest fire recovery efforts.
On the 28th, the Hopebridge National Disaster Relief Association announced that global artist JENNIE
announced that it has donated approximately 10 million yen to help with recovery efforts following the forest fires in the Ulsan, North Gyeongsang Province, and South Gyeongsang Province.
Jennie said, "I was saddened to hear the news that many people are experiencing hardship due to the sudden wildfires. I want to join in and provide some comfort, even if it's just a small thing."
"I sincerely hope that everyone can safely return to their daily lives and welcome the warmth of spring," he added.
JENNIE's donations will be used for practical recovery efforts, such as providing emergency livelihood support for residents in the affected areas, providing relief supplies, and operating temporary evacuation shelters.

It is a specialized organization. Its main activities include disaster emergency relief, collecting and distributing national donations, restoring local communities after disasters, and supporting those who are vulnerable to disasters. To date, it has donated 1.6 trillion won and 6,000,000 people.
More than 10,000 items of relief supplies were provided.
