Prosecutors summon former President Moon Jae-in over allegations of special employment of former son-in-law = South Korea

The prosecution, which is investigating allegations that South Korean President Moon Jae-in's son-in-law, Mr. Seo, was specially hired by Thai Star Jet, has summoned former President Moon.
Bae Sang-yoon, chief prosecutor of the Jeonju District Prosecutors' Office's Third Criminal Division, notified former President Moon last month of a schedule for him to respond to a summons for investigation.
The prosecution is said to be currently discussing the investigation schedule with President Moon's side. The prosecution is investigating whether Lee Sang-sik, a former Democratic Party lawmaker and founder of Eastar Jet, was involved in a small venture business in March 2018.

The prosecution had previously seized and investigated Da-hye's Jeju villa and home in August last year, and had listed President Moon as a suspect in a warrant.
One day after her home was seized and investigated, Dahye posted on social media a comparison of herself to a "frog" that was hit by a stone thrown unintentionally, and expressed her dissatisfaction with the prosecution's investigation.
