Yim Siwan donates 3 million yen to children affected by earthquake in Myanmar
Actor Yim Siwan showed his positive influence.

On March 31, UNICEF Korea Committee announced that actor Yim Siwan participated in an emergency relief campaign for children affected by the Myanmar earthquake and transferred 30 million won in funds.

The fund will be used entirely for emergency relief projects such as nutrition, drinking water sanitation, education, and protection for Myanmar earthquake affected children. Yim Siwan expressed his hope that the earthquake will not cause more damage and that everyone will be safe, saying, “I send my small but comforting heart to the children who are suffering and losing their place in life at this very moment."

"I hope that everyone will be safe without further damage,” said Cho Mi-jin, Secretary General of the Korea Committee for UNICEF. ”Yim Siwan, who has been leading the spread of a culture of sharing in Korean society through her warm good deeds, has given an important fund for the children of Myanmar. This fund will be a great comfort and hope to the earthquake-damaged children who are in fear and despair due to the sudden disaster,” he said, ”We deeply appreciate Yim Siwan's heartfelt love and support for the children.
