Lee Jae-myung: ”President Yoon's return means a second martial law” - South Korea

"It started with Deputy Prime Minister for Economy and Minister of Strategy and Finance Han Deok-soo, acting president," Lee said. "The Constitution is the highest rule in Korea and should be upheld by all citizens.
Among them, public officials who are responsible for upholding constitutional order, especially the acting president who is the highest public official, should fulfill this duty with the utmost priority. "When the president takes his oath of office, he must abide by the Constitution first and foremost," he said.
"Constitutional violations are very serious matters. They are different from simple violations of the criminal law or fraud or corruption," he said. "In the 21st century, in the Republic of Korea, we will have to mobilize the military to run the executive, legislative, and judicial branches.
"The extremely unimaginable has actually happened - taking complete control of the law and imposing military rule. This is clearly an act that completely destroys the constitutional order of South Korea."
He also said, "If President Yoon returns, it will mean a second martial law, so our people will resist and conflict will be unavoidable."
"This is an issue concerning the survival of the Republic of Korea," he said, adding, "I want all citizens to think about what could happen if President Yoon returns to the country."
