SungHoon of the idol group ENHYPEN has donated 30 million won (approximately 3 million yen) to areas affected by forest fires.
The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association announced that ENHYPEN member SungHoon was injured in a forest fire.
On the 1st, the company announced that it had donated 30 million won to help with the recovery of the affected areas and to support the victims. SungHoon said, "I'm grateful to the firefighters and all those working on relief efforts for their dedication."
"We sincerely hope that those who are experiencing difficulties due to the wildfires will be able to return to their normal lives as soon as possible," the statement said. The donations will be used to help those affected by the wildfires in Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam.
The donations will be used for practical recovery activities such as emergency livelihood support, provision of relief goods, and operation of temporary evacuation centers for residents in the affected areas.
