The Web3 AI Media Seminar 2025 (WAM2025), which looked at the media revolution that combines Web3 and AI, concluded with great success.
The event was held on March 28th at MODULABS in Gangnam, Seoul.
It was co-hosted by Computer, BlockMedia and BLOCKCHAIN TODAY, and sponsored by Microsoft, S.Pin and MODULABS.
The event began at 2 p.m. with an opening address by Kim Ki-jeong, president of the Korea Internet Newspaper Association. Chairman Kim said, "The fusion of AI technology and news has great potential.
"It has both positive aspects and concerns such as unverified data," he said, and in that sense, today's seminar is meaningful. How can AI technology coexist with the media?
"I hope that this will be a platform where we can show off our technology," he said.

Under the theme of "Making the most of AI," he explained how AI automation can maximize efficiency in the media industry and introduced practical application methods centering on the example of PTU.
In the third session, Park Mina, vice president of Companoid Labs SF49 Studio, gave a talk entitled "Between Generation and Collaboration: Thumbnails Created by AI Agents."
He gave a presentation on the theme of "Changes in Art and Media," outlining the revolutionary changes that AI-based visual content production will bring to the media environment and leading a discussion on the collaboration methods between AI and humans.
After the break, Hashed's Data Lead (Subin An) gave a talk on Web3 on the topic of "The Role of Crypto Engine in Crypto x AI."
He explained the role of blockchain in AI and innovative use cases. He also explained how the combination of AI and blockchain can create synergy effects in data security and distributed networks.
In the final session, Kang Seung-hyun (Birchnut), lead of TON Korea Hub, gave a talk entitled "AI, Blockchain, and the Future of Blockchain Technology."
The theme of the event was "Internet, Internet, and Social Media: Reconstructing the Digital Society," and it focused on the new digital ecosystem that Web3, AI, and blockchain are creating together.
How can blockchain-based social media change the existing platform structure, and how can blockchain technology ensure trust and transparency?
The seminar was not just a technical discussion, but also aimed to be a forum for exploring practical collaboration opportunities in the Web3 AI media industry.
