Car carrying mother and 3-year-old son falls into reservoir - South Korea

An accident occurred in which a car carrying a mother in her 30s and her 3-year-old son fell into a reservoir in Hwaseong City, Gyeonggi Province.
According to the Gyeonggi Hwaseong Western Police Station on the 4th, at around 6:04 a.m. today,
A report was received from Dongbang Reservoir in Dan (Paltan) that a car had fallen into the reservoir and people were on top of it. Firefighters were then dispatched to rescue two people who were stranded in the reservoir.
The two were not injured, but were taken to a nearby hospital due to symptoms of hypothermia. No other casualties were reported.
Police plan to investigate the circumstances of the accident once the mother has finished her treatment.
