「NewJeans」へインの父親、唯一反対
NewJeans' Haein's father was the only one opposed to ADOR's lawsuit to terminate exclusive contract
It has been revealed that the father of HYEIN, a member of the Korean girl group NewJeans, is the only person to voice opposition to the lawsuit to terminate their exclusive contract with ADOR.
On the 3rd of this month, the first hearing was held at the Seoul Central District Court, Civil Agreement Division 41, and it was revealed that there were differing opinions among the parents of "NewJeans."
On that day, the court asked the NewJeans representative, "Does this mean that the family court has issued a decision to exercise parental authority over the four defendants and that the lawsuit has been approved?"
This is likely because, when a member is a minor, the parents jointly represent each other in custody, but the matter was resolved after a disagreement related to the lawsuit.
Of the two members, HYEIN and HAERIN were underage, and it was revealed that HYEIN was the member who expressed disagreement with her parents.
Hyein's mother, Ms. A, filed a lawsuit against the father, Mr. B, in Seoul Family Court as soon as she had a disagreement with him.
She filed a lawsuit for the adjustment of parental rights, requesting that the exercise of parental rights be restricted. The court accepted the mother A's request, stating that "it is reasonable for the plaintiff to exercise parental rights exclusively."
In relation to this, the parents of "NewJeans" stated in a statement, "The reports in some media outlets that 'a split has arisen between the parents of the members' are completely untrue.
"All five members are firmly of the opinion that they cannot return to HYBE."
He also said, "The hot topic about HAERIN by members is completely different from the facts.
"IN and HAERIN's parents are all in firm agreement, and the speculations about the rest of the family are all untrue," he emphasized, implying that HYEIN is the one in question.
The parents of "NewJeans" have been active in their own right, setting up social media accounts and speaking out on behalf of their members.
In response, ADOR filed a petition for provisional injunction to protect the status of the planning company and prohibit the signing of advertising contracts on January 6th of this year, and "NewJeans"
They presented 11 reasons for terminating the contract, but the court rejected all of them. As a result, NewJeans has declared that they will cease activities and continue to fight.
