Democratic Party of Korea responds to former President Yoon Seok-yeol's departure from the official residence: ”We are fed up with the consistent nuisance of the departure show at the end of work hours” (South Korea)

Regarding former President Yoon Seok-yeol's departure from the government office at 5 p.m. the previous day, coinciding with the end of work hours for office workers, the Democratic Party of Korea stated, "We are tired of his consistent nuisance behavior."
Cho Seung-rye, chief spokesman for the Democratic Party of Korea, said at a briefing on the 12th, "We are aware of the rogue group that blocked off the Hannam-dong area of Seoul during the time when office workers are leaving work and held a parade.
"This was a sarcastic act that reproduced the arrogance, incommunication, and self-righteousness of the past three years," he said sarcastically. "He hugged and sobbed with his young supporters, who had been prepared in advance.
"It is shocking that the scene was artificially staged. It shows the shameless behavior of the mastermind of a civil war who mocked the people to the very end."
"Yoon Seok-yeol's exit show was a cheap performance that seemed to mock the Constitutional Court's impeachment decision.
"Yoon Seok-yeol, who was driven out by the people, was playing the role of a triumphant general, as if he was a departing president who had successfully completed his term," he said.
He continued, "Even if Yoon Seok-yeol returns to his private residence, it is obvious that he will try to interfere in the presidential election.
It's pathetic that while he is strutting around the streets playing the role of supreme king, the People Power party is just following suit."
"We are aware that the civil war has not yet ended," said Chief Spokesperson Zhao.
"I feel this very strongly. I am warning you that the weight of the judgment being passed on the mastermind of the rebellion, Yoon Seok-yeol, and those who sympathize with the rebellion, is growing heavier by the day."
