”Impeachment invalid, Yoon again”... Former President Yoon supporters gather in South Korea

On the 12th, the day after former South Korean President Yoon SUNGYEOL returned to his private residence in Seocho-gu, Seoul, his supporters gathered around Gwanghwamun, Jongno-gu, Seoul.
The Headquarters for the Movement to Rebuild the Republic of Korea, led by Pastor Jeong Gwang-hoon, held a demonstration for the "National Right to Resist" in the Gwanghwamun area of Jongno-gu from 1 p.m. on the same day.
At 2 p.m., according to an unofficial police estimate, about 10,000 people had gathered. Participants gathered from the Donghwa Duty Free Shop to the Deoksugung Palace area.
Wearing umbrellas and raincoats in the rain, they shouted slogans such as "Yoon Again" and "Impeach the fraud." The moderator said, "President Yoon Sung-yeol will definitely return to his rightful position and impeach the illegal fraudsters.
"The truth about the impeachment should be made clear," said Cho Bae-sook, a lawmaker from the People Power Party, who stood on the podium and said, "In this bitter cold, you are all blaming this country in Gwanghwamun, Hannam-dong, and in front of the Constitutional Court.
"I know that a lot of effort has been put into protecting it," he said, adding, "The impeachment verdict is not the end. There is still the presidential election, and now is the time for us to come together."
The Free University, a support group for former President Yoon, and others held an "Only Yoon Seok-yol Again" rally at Exit 8 of Kyodae Station on subway lines 2 and 3 at 2 p.m.

"This nuisance act is a direct reproduction of the arrogance, incommunication and self-righteousness of the past three years," he said, criticizing the move as "the shameless act of the mastermind of a civil war who will continue to mock the people until the very end."
