China's Ministry of Finance reports that general public budget revenue in January-March fell 1.1% year-on-year

The Ministry of Finance has released the income and expenditures of the national general public budget (equivalent to the general account) for the first quarter of this year (January to March). According to the information released, the national general public budget revenue for the first quarter was 1.1% lower than the previous year.

Local general public budget revenues increased 2.2% to 3.5857 trillion yen (approximately 69.9 trillion yen). Meanwhile, national general public budget expenditures increased 4.2% to 7.2815 trillion yen in the first quarter.
Of this, the central government's general public budget expenditures increased by 8.9% to 871.7 billion former (about 17 trillion yen), while local government general public budget expenditures increased by 3.6% to 6.4098 trillion former (about 12 trillion yen).
