観光客が9割以上増加した地方都市、市場との連携やスタンプラリーで集客=韓国
South Korea's regional city sees 90% increase in tourists, attracting visitors through collaboration with markets and stamp rallies
The number of tourists visiting Jeungpyeong County, North Chungcheong Province, has increased by 92.6% in the past five years. Tourists can visit 16 attractions and get their "Jeungpyeong Culture Passport" stamped.
Tourists who collect the stamps will be presented with gift certificates that can be used at the Jeongpyeong Changteul Market Festival. Among the 16 locations where stamps for the Jeongpyeong Cultural Passport are set up, there are not only tourist attractions but also museums, libraries, etc.
The park is unique in that it allows both residents and visitors to learn about the history and traditions of Jeungpyeong. Tourism in the area has also expanded to include various collaborative projects with the market, and has been a success.
One of the collaborative projects is the children's shopping experience. So far, we have partnered with 10 nursery schools in Jeungpyeong-gun, and 570 children have enjoyed sightseeing tours and shopping experiences. We also set up a promotional booth at the local festival.
Since 2024, the businesses at Jeongpyeong Changrul Market have been working together to grow into a tourist market.
The food festival, which was successfully held in 2024, will be held again in 2025 to create excitement. This will be the start of efforts to educate business operators, develop products with stories, and provide services.
The company is working to strengthen its market position in a variety of areas, including improving its services.
