In response to the growing interest in rice, the Korean Agricultural Cooperative Association has decided to export an additional 10 tons of rice this month.
On the 10th of this month, the company exported 2 tons of rice to Japan and began selling it, and on the 20th, it exported an additional 10 tons. The rice was sold at the Agricultural Cooperative Online Shopping Mall in Japan and at the Shin-Okubo
It was sold at Korean supermarkets and sold out. This is the first time Korean rice has been sold in Japan, except for the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011 and 2012 (for relief purposes).
The rice sold by Korean agricultural cooperatives in Japan is said to be priced at 9,000 yen per 10 kilograms, including customs duties and shipping fees.
