Lee Jae-myung: ”May you rest in eternal rest beside God” after Pope passes away (South Korea)

Lee Jae-myung, former head of the Democratic Party of Korea, who announced his candidacy for the next South Korean presidential election, said on the 21st after hearing Pope Francis' passing away, "May you rest forever in God's presence.
"The Pope has passed away after a long battle with illness," Lee said on social media that day. "I was unable to work for a while after hearing the news. I am deeply saddened by his passing.
"The Pope put the spirit of Christ into practice and gave great teachings not only to the Catholic Church but to the whole world," Lee said.
"I remember how he expressed his wish for peace and showed interest in us," he continued. "I will never forget how he baptized and comforted the families of those who lost their lives in the Sewol ferry disaster."
"I will keep in my heart the words of the Pope, who said, 'Politics is the highest form of charity for the common good. Politics is the service of people.'"
