Number of registered private companies in China exceeds 57 million, accounting for 92.3% of total - Chinese media

According to data released by the State Administration for Market Regulation on the 21st, as of the end of March, the number of registered private enterprises nationwide exceeded 57 million, accounting for 92.3% of the total.
In the first quarter (January-March), the number of newly established private companies nationwide rose 7.1% from the same period last year to 1,979,000, exceeding the average growth rate of the past three years.
During the same period, the number of private companies in the "four new" (new technology, new industry, new business format, new model) economy newly established nationwide increased by 1.4% to 836,000, accounting for more than 40% of the total number of private companies newly established during this period.
Among them, Internet and modern information technology service companies had the highest growth rate, reaching 18%.
In addition, the number of newly established "digital economy" private companies was 274,000, down from the total.
Of these, the "digital product service industry" had the highest growth rate, growing by nearly 2.5 times compared to last year.
Through globalization efforts, Chinese private enterprises have continuously improved their core competitiveness and demonstrated strong innovative power.
