Girl group IVE has participated in the OST (original soundtrack) of the first Japanese TV series since their debut. IVE's new Japanese original song "DARE
ME" was the opening theme for the new Sunday TV series "Damemane! - We'll Manage Useless Talents" (hereafter "Damemane!"), which began airing on Nippon Television on the 20th.
The song was released on various global music platforms on the 21st, immediately after the TV series first aired. Prior to that, the news that it was chosen as the opening song for "Damemane!" had been gathering Hot Topic.
"DARE ME" is an original Japanese song created for the TV series. It contains an encouraging and positive message that "You don't have to compare yourself to others, just be yourself."
This is the first time that IVE will be singing the OST for a Japanese TV series since their debut in 2021. IVE said, "We are very grateful for the opportunity to participate in the OST for the Japanese TV series 'Damemane!'"
