I was intrigued by the story of the ghosts that appeared in the film. I played two roles, Yoon Kap and Kang Chul, and I found the character of Kang Chul particularly fascinating.

Yuk Seong Jae said, "This is my first attempt at a period drama, but since it has a fantasy element to it, there are quite a few action scenes using swords and weapons.
There were action scenes with swords splitting the sky and tornadoes, but I found them very difficult. I exchanged various ideas with the director on set and the film was completed.
"I acted confidently as I felt because it was the answer to our TV series," Kim Ji-young said.
