The shaman Yo-ri (Kim Ji-yeong), who refuses her fate as a medium, and her first love Yoon Ga-p (Yuk Seong Jae), who appears before her, and Yoon
The TV series "Ghost Palace," which depicts the story of a giant snake called Kang Chul (Kim Young Kwang) trapped in Gab's body, has been receiving 9.2% viewership rating (Nielsen Korea, total viewership rating) since its first broadcast.
The couple photoshoot with Cosmopolitan and Yuk Seong Jae and Kim Ji Yeon is a collaboration between the two of them, who are in the historical dramas Yo Ri and Yoon Hae.
Unlike Gab's appearance, the concept was to capture a lively moment. The two showed perfect chemistry and harmony on set, completing a wonderful photo shoot with each cut.
After the photo shoot, an interview took place. When asked why he chose the TV series "Ghost Palace," Yuk Seong Jae said, "I've always loved the fantasy genre, and the characters that appear in each episode are full of grudges.
I was intrigued by the story of the ghosts that appeared in the film. I played two roles, Yoon Kap and Kang Chul, and I found the character of Kang Chul particularly fascinating.
Kim Ji-Yeong said, "I also love the fantasy genre, but I've never done it before, so I wanted to try it once.
The scenario itself was also very interesting. The story of the giant snake and the shrine maiden felt fresh. In addition, for the TV series "Onimiya," which is a period drama with fantasy elements,
Yuk Seong Jae said, "This is my first attempt at a period drama, but since it has a fantasy element to it, there are quite a few action scenes using swords and weapons.
There were action scenes with swords splitting the sky and tornadoes, but I found them very difficult. I exchanged various ideas with the director on set and the film was completed.
"I acted confidently as I felt because it was the answer to our TV series," Kim Ji-young said.
I was consulted. I saw him perform an exorcism, and I also looked at the movies and books he recommended, and I worked hard to create the character of Yo-ri within myself," she said, expressing her enthusiasm as an actor.
When asked how they felt about meeting each other as the lead characters in the same TV series, Kim Ji Yeon said, "At first,
I was a little worried about whether I would be able to express my emotions well in front of this person, but I felt very at ease from the first shoot. I was also comfortable with questions like, "Am I okay now?"
Yuk Seong Jae also said, "I felt most comfortable with that part too. I think that's probably why the acting synergy between the two of us was created."
(laughs)," showing his reliable side. He also said, "JIYEON absorbs all genres as if they were his own, so I think he will become a really good actor. He has yet to master all genres.
"Even if we haven't met yet, he's an actor who can eventually evolve," he said, praising him. Kim Ji Yeon said, "Seongje is an actor with great abilities. He's good at everything he does.
"Every day on set, the director and I would talk about how good Seongje is. I'm jealous of his abilities," he said, showing how they rely on and respect each other as actors and friends.
Finally, he shared his hopes and dreams while showing off "Ghost Palace" to the viewers. Yuk Seong Jae said, "I filmed this drama with no regrets, so I'm glad I was able to enjoy it."
I'm very nervous about how it will be seen. I'm always one to get ahead of myself, so I spend my time imagining what it would be like if it went well. "What should I do if this work goes well?
"I think like this (laughs)," Kim Ji-yeong said, expressing her hope that "everyone has worked so hard, so I hope that another TV series that will be remembered for a long time in the hearts of viewers will be born."
I made it.
