The “TVXQ 20th Anniversary LIVE TOUR ~ZONE~” started last November in Saitama, followed by 22 performances in 9 cities, including Aichi, Hiroshima, Osaka, Fukui, Miyagi, Fukuoka, Kanagawa, and Tokyo. Since the tour was held in celebration of the 20th anniversary of TVXQ Japanese debut, it drew an explosive response with a total audience of 350,000 people.
With an unprecedented 33 performances in Tokyo Dome and 92 performances in domes nationwide, TVXQ once again broke the record for the most performances in Tokyo Dome and domes nationwide by an overseas artist, proving their overwhelming position as “Asia's top class”. In addition, the Tokyo Dome concert was the first time for a Japanese artist to perform at the Tokyo Dome.
Furthermore, the Tokyo Dome concert was held on April 27th, the date of the Japanese debut of TVXQ, adding even deeper meaning to the event. To commemorate the event, major Japanese media such as Sports Nippon, Nikkan Sports, Sports Hochi, Sankei Sports, and Daily Sports published special editions highlighting the Tokyo Dome concert, reminding viewers of TVXQ enduring popularity and power.
The group also performed HUG, Purple Line, Humanoids, and other songs from their existing setlist with a more upgraded stage direction and a variety of stage performances.
TVXQ has completed with great success its activities to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its debut in Japan, including album release, broadcast, magazine, pop-up store, and tour, which continued from last year.
Meanwhile, TVXQ, after finishing their Japan nationwide live tour, will perform at “SMTOWN LIVE 2025” in Mexico City, Mexico on May 10th (below, local time) and in Los Angeles, U.S. on May 12th.
