"One in seven people would be willing to entrust all of their crypto assets to an AI agent," the researchers wrote.
"They either believe the potential benefits outweigh the risks, or they simply have a high risk tolerance for holding cryptocurrencies."
Opinions are divided on entrusting cryptocurrency wallets to AI: 37% do not trust AI, while 34% do.
28% indicated a neutral stance, while 13% revealed they have no trust in AI at all for their crypto portfolios.
In cryptocurrency trading, 13% believe that AI agents will sometimes outperform humans.
9% claimed that this was not the case.
