”TWICE” unit ”MISAMO” releases the theme song ”Message” for the Japanese movie ”Kakukaku Shikajika”

MISAMO, a unit from the girl group TWICE, will participate in the theme song of the Japanese film, enhancing the immersiveness of the work with her warm sensibility.
"MISAMO", the first unit group of "TWICE" formed by Mina, Sana, and Momo, will be released on the 28th at 0:00 in Japan.
The theme song for the movie "Kakkaku Shikajika", "Message", was released. "Message" is a song with a warm yet sad sensibility.
The cover image, which exudes tranquility as the protagonist gazes out at the sea under a refreshing sky, was created by the original author and screenwriter of the film.
The song was created by Akiko Higashimura, the manga artist who wrote "My Little Monster," and the pleasant vocals of Mina, Sana, and Momo combine with the visual mood to create a moving video.
The special video released on TWICE's official Japanese SNS channel features a collaboration with the original illustrations, and conveys the story of the work and song.
The movie "Kakkaku Shikajika", based on the manga of the same name, is scheduled to be released in Japan on May 16th, and "MISAMO" will be singing "Message" on various music streams.
You can listen to the song on their website. In January of this year, MISAMO successfully completed her first dome tour, which included six performances in three regions of Japan, drawing a total of 250,000 spectators to the Tokyo Dome.
The solo concert was held as part of the "MISAMO JAPAN DOME TOUR 2024 "HAUTE COUTURE"" and will be held in November 2024 in Belle, Saitama.
The group will perform at the Tokyo Dome and Kyocera Dome Osaka in Osaka, setting a new record for the shortest attendance period for a female artist, standing on the stage at the Tokyo Dome in about one year and six months since their local debut in July 2023.
Meanwhile, TWICE will release their fifth best album "#TWICE5" in Japan on May 14th. The new album includes the released preview song "Talk that
Talk -Japanese ver.-", as well as Japanese versions of "SET ME FREE" and "ONE SPARK" will be recorded.
Next, on August 2 (local time), the band will perform at a large-scale music festival held in Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
They will appear as headliners at the upcoming event "Lollapalooza Chicago," demonstrating their presence as a "global top girl group."
