Bitcoin mining now uses more than 50% renewable energy

The proportion of renewable energy used in Bitcoin mining has increased significantly. On the 29th (local time), TheBlock announced a Bitcoin mining report from Cambridge University.
Citing the report, it said the proportion of new renewable energy used in Bitcoin mining will reach 52.4%.
This is a significant increase from the 37.6% forecast for 2022 three years ago.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk previously announced that Bitcoin miners would be re-listed as payment options.
Tesla previously announced that it would reintroduce the Bitcoin payment option for Tesla products once the renewable energy usage rate exceeds 50%.
