韓国野党の大統領選候補「李在明氏は当選しても『無効・職位喪失』のおそれ」
South Korean opposition presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung fears his election will be invalid and his position will be lost
On the 3rd, Lee Jun-seok, the next presidential candidate of the South Korean opposition party "Reform Party," announced that Lee Jae-myung, the next presidential candidate of the largest opposition party "Democratic Party of Korea," will be the first to run in the public office election.
After the Supreme Court found him guilty of a violation of the law, overturned the acquittal of the second trial and sent the case back to the Seoul High Court, criticism of the judiciary has been mounting within the Democratic Party.
"It is always a dangerous and unconstitutional political act," he said. Candidate Lee Jun-seok said on his blog that day, "Due to the violation of the Public Offices Election Act surrounding candidate Lee Jae-myung,
"The controversy surrounding Article 84 of the Constitution, or the 'presidential immunity clause,' is gradually growing," he wrote. Candidate Lee Jun-seok said, "This controversy was never intentionally brought about from the outside.
"This is not a case of candidate Lee Jae-myung having faced various trials over the past few years, and in particular the recent guilty verdict by the Supreme Court, which is a case of his own making," he said.
He continued, "Under these circumstances, even if candidate Lee Jae-myung runs for president and wins, there is a risk that his election will be invalidated or he will lose his position immediately."
"There are fears that not only could this result in the waste of hundreds of billions of won in election costs, but also a vacuum in national politics, political chaos, and even social division bordering on a quasi-civil war," he said.
"What is even more serious is that candidate Lee Jae-myung and the Democratic Party have not shown any intention to resolve this legal dispute in a fair manner, but have instead threatened to 'neutralize the judiciary.'
"He has made such ridiculous statements and has not hesitated to make claims that deny the very system of separation of powers," he said, pointing out that "this shows that he has absolutely no intention of upholding the Constitution."
I picked it.
