The newly appointed prosecutors are 49 men and 41 women. They were selected after going through a rigorous evaluation process last year that included performance records and organizational skills evaluations.
The Ministry of Justice, judging that a sufficient number of prosecutors are necessary to handle cases faithfully and promptly in order to promote the rights and interests of the people, appointed more than 90 prosecutors this year, following on from last year.
New prosecutors will receive training at the Legal Training and Research Institute for about six months, including practical training at the prosecutor's office. During this process, they will acquire the attitude and practical skills required for a prosecutor.
After gaining sufficient experience, he is scheduled to be assigned to a front-line prosecutor's office around November and begin full-fledged work as a prosecutor.
