Trump aide: ”New Pope is a Marxist, it makes me sick”

Laura LeMar, a Republican activist who is a close ally of US President Donald Trump, has denounced the newly elected Pope as a "Marxist."

She is well known for being a Republican. Although she does not hold an official title in Congress or the government, she was noted for having strong political ties to President Trump during the last presidential election.
After President Trump took office, a member of the National Security Council (NSC) was fired immediately after meeting with Mr. Lemar, sparking controversy.

Lemar then dug up past social media posts by the new pope and continued his criticism.
The new Pope, who was enthroned as Pope Francis, has actually taken a negative stance against the current Trump administration, including sending critical messages to government officials on social media.
"He's wrong. The Lord doesn't rank the love of our neighbors," he said of Vice President J.D. Vance, referring to a message he posted criticizing the administration's xenophobic policies.
