China's auto production and sales exceed 10 million units in January-April

The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers announced on the 12th that China's automobile production and sales in the first four months of this year exceeded 10 million units each.
According to public statistics, China's automobile production in the first four months of the year increased 12.9% year-on-year to 10,175,000 vehicles.
Production volume of new energy vehicles (NEVs) increased 48.3% to 4.429 million, while sales increased 46.2% to 4.3 million.
The number of new NEV sales accounted for 42.7% of the total number of new automobile sales. In terms of exports, the number of automobile exports during the same period increased by 6% to 1,937,000 units.
Of these, the number of NEV exports was 642,000, up 52.6% year on year. The association said, "The automobile market in April showed a favorable performance overall, with both production and sales volumes remaining stable compared to the same month last year.
We have achieved significant growth."
