「i-dle」ウギ、ファンをがっかりさせる軽率発言…
'Group name change' ”i-dle” Yuqi's ”careless remarks” disappoint fans and spark controversy... ”Are you paying for concert seats?”
Yuqi of the Korean girl group 'i-dle', which recently changed its group name, has been slammed for a thoughtless comment that disappointed fans ahead of its comeback.

On the 13th, Yuqi and Minnie of 'i-dle' appeared as guests on the YouTube channel 'TEO'. The two were supposedly on the channel as a publicity stunt in anticipation of their comeback on the 19th of this month.

In this video, MC Jang Do-young told Minnie, "I heard that you paid 10 million won out of your own pocket to invite 100 people you know to the concert." Yuqi said, "There is a Minnie zone. When I give concerts in Thailand, my family, friends, and acquaintances come together," she revealed.

She then added, "It's good to invite them to our concerts. I don't understand why we have to pay for our own tickets for our concerts." Yuqi and Minnie said that they should have included this in the terms of their contract when they re-signed with the agency, and told them that they would talk about it.

Fans were disappointed by this statement from Yuqi. Fans pay for their own concert tickets and go to see the concerts on their own. In addition, if there are a lot of invited guests coming to the concert, some fans may not be able to buy tickets even if they have the money to do so.

She expressed disappointment over the comments made by fans that it was incomprehensible that seats would not be given free of charge to artists performing, even though the fans would have purchased their own tickets with their own money. Fans said that concerts are a place where fans who love artists gather, so invitational seats should not be given priority.

Some also pointed out that she thought the fans were a bunch of fools. Public opinion was negative toward the suggestion that she failed to understand the feelings of her fans.

Yuqi has been under fire for her indiscreet comment that she failed to understand the feelings of fans ahead of her 'i-dle' comeback, and the controversy over this comment has continued.
