As Kong Myung continues to accompany her on house calls, a subtle change occurs between the two. When Geum-ju did not return home the night before, her family, worried about her, inform her that her belongings were found near Pocheon Lake.
The whole village was shocked and worried. However, Geum-ju was not at Pocheon Lake, but at Ui-jung's house. An accident occurred when a car tried to avoid Geum-ju, who was staggering in the middle of the road.
The disappearance incident ended with a mishap, but the accident caused Euijun to injure his leg, and Kumju suddenly became aware of "Lord Seo of Pocheon."
He was charged with a serious crime for causing injury. He was offered compensation, but the financial responsibility was too much for Geum-ju, who was on leave from work. In response, Geum-ju was forced to follow Eui-jun's house call schedule.
He began to take on responsibility by taking on odd jobs, and their unexpected company gradually brought the two closer together. Geum-ju saw the news of her former boyfriend Ju-yeop's (Yoo Eui-tae) birthday.

Geum-ju goes to retrieve the car, but meets Joo-yeop and his new girlfriend at the same time. Heartbroken once again, she comforts herself with alcohol.
Later, after finishing his house call, Eui-jun comes home and happens to meet a drunk Geum-ju.
Her feelings of concern for him were short-lived, but she was disappointed and thought, "Whatever the circumstances, it was probably just a good opportunity to drink." Faced with another misunderstanding, Geum-ju could not hide her sadness.
Meanwhile, questions about Uijun's past have surfaced again. Uijun, who said he had quit drinking, had a refrigerator full of soju bottles, and online communities have been raving about how "Uijun is a man who is not good at drinking."
A new, cryptic comment has appeared: "You killed him."
