He highly praised the remarkable results of cooperation between the two countries in a wide range of fields, including politics, economy, defense and the defense industry, and the international arena. He also said that he hopes that the new administrations of both countries will continue to strengthen their bilateral ties through frequent exchanges.
He expressed confidence that the special strategic partnership between Korea and Indonesia will continue to develop in the future, and that a strong political trust has been built. A new administration was inaugurated in Indonesia in October last year.
Kim stressed that Korea will be the best partner in realizing the "2045 Golden Indonesia Vision."
He expressed hope that mutually beneficial and strategic cooperation between the two countries would be strengthened in areas such as energy, food security, downstream industrial development, and human resource development.
Deputy Minister Almanata said that in a meeting with a delegation from the Korea Business Association in April this year, President Prabowo stated that he would actively support the activities of Korean companies.
He added that the Indonesian government will also work to create a friendly environment to promote investment in Indonesia and facilitate business activities for Korean companies.
The two Vice Ministers reaffirmed the need for strengthening strategic cooperation between the two countries amid the recent heightened geopolitical and geoeconomic uncertainties.
Based on mutual trust, we agree on the need to smoothly advance strategic cooperation projects in the defense and defense industry sectors, and to actively explore new possibilities for cooperation in areas such as shipbuilding and supply chains.
Kim also stressed that North Korea's nuclear and missile provocations and threats, as well as illegal military cooperation between Russia and North Korea, pose a grave threat to the Korean Peninsula and the entire international community.
He also said that in order to convey ASEAN's clear position on this issue, the international community needs to continue to send a consistent message.
Kim also called on Indonesia's Coordinating Minister for National Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurto Yudhoyono and Arif Habas U.
He also met separately with Undersecretary Groseno, and discussed the importance of developing the special strategic partnership between the two countries, revitalizing high-level exchanges, infrastructure cooperation, maritime security cooperation, and cooperation on regional and international issues.
