The event featured a variety of themed pavilions, including Korean beauty and fashion experiences, Korean travel product promotions, a Korean cultural performance, and a Korean travel quiz, to promote Korean tourism.
Ten major travel agencies in Singapore also set up booths to promote travel to Korea, selling over 600 travel packages worth about 1.54 billion won (US$1.6 million) over the three days.
The Korea Tourism Organization said that the number of Singaporean tourists who visited Korea last year was 375,000, a record high, up 53% from 2019, and that the number of Singaporean tourists who visited Korea again is on the rise.
The rate was 61%, which is higher than the overall average of 56%.
