The moment Geum-ju crumbles as she faces an unexpected truth amid a clash of hidden emotions is depicted. Geum-ju suggests that Eui-jun test drive the car she had repaired, and heads to Seoul with him.
Geum-ju stops by a department store to pick out a gift for an acquaintance, and when Eui-jun declines the gift, she treats him to a meal to show her gratitude.
However, Geum-ju had been accompanying Ui-jun on his house calls, claiming that she had no money until recently. She suddenly shows a sense of financial freedom.
When Wi-jung becomes suspicious, Geum-ju cheerfully boasts that she got a refund for the deposit from the wedding hall that canceled the wedding.
However, Uijun's reaction was unexpected. When he heard about the refund, Uijun's expression hardened and he said, "It's like you broke off the engagement.
"It's like he's been hurt," he said, questioning whether he had any consideration for those who were hurt. He then stood up and left the room, saying, "I can't cooperate with him bragging about that money," increasing tension.
Behind Euijun's reaction, there were traces of emotions that had continued since their college days. The memory of him carefully confessing his feelings to Geumju when he was drunk, and the memories of their friendship.
Geum-ju's different views on relationships still remain as a wound in Eui-jung's heart. Eui-jung is shocked when he happens to see Joo-yeop with a woman holding a maternal and child health handbook at the hospital.
Worried about Geum-ju's condition, Eui-jun immediately went to the temple and found Geum-ju sitting alone in the mountains. Seeing Eui-jun, Kum-ju pretended to be calm and collected.
Muju immediately let out the tears she had been holding back as she said, "It's not okay."
