BOYNEXTDOOR collects trophies... Following ”Music Bank” they also take first place in ”Music Bank”
BOYNEXTDOOR has embarked on a full-scale trophy collection by winning two music programs.
BOYNEXTDOOR took first place with 'I Feel Good', the title track from their 4th mini-album 'No Genre', on KBS2's Music Bank broadcast on the afternoon of the 23rd. In addition to the new song, their digital single 'IF I SAY, I LOVE YOU', which was released in January, ranked No.3, confirming their hot popularity.
With this, BOYNEXTDOOR won their second music program trophy after their comeback, following Mnet's M COUNTDOWN the day before. The six members of BOYNEXTDOOR have been performing well on major charts both in Korea and abroad, and their future progress is expected to be even more promising.
The six members could not hide their joy, saying, "We wanted to meet ONEDOOR (the name of the fandom) as soon as possible, but it seems like they have been giving us gifts for a long time, and we are very thankful for that." They continued, "We will continue to be faithful in our activities just because you give us so much love."
During the encore stage that followed, BOYNEXTDOOR entertained the audience with an even freer and more fun performance. The members also showed their love for their fans by singing ONEDOOR throughout the song.
Meanwhile, 'No Genre' by BOYNEXTDOOR was released on the 13th and recorded initial sales of 1,166,419 copies (in the first week of its release according to HANTEO chart standards. It also swept Billboard JAPAN's “Top Album Sales” and “Hot Albums” (May 12th-18th). The title track 'Feel Good' has been steadily staying in the upper echelon of the “Top 100” of MelOn, Korea's largest music source site, after taking the No.5 spot. On the Circle Chart's weekly download chart (May 11th-18th), not only the title track, but also all of the album's songs were ranked in the chart, showing its resilience.
