The moment when they finally confessed their secret feelings and a real romance began between them was depicted.
It was revealed that Yeop (Yoo Eui Tae) had been cheating on her. When her mother Gwang Ok (Kim Sung Ryoung) found out, she was shocked and started to drink alcohol, even though she usually avoided it.
Kim Sang Ho and her sister Hyun Joo (Cho Youn Hee) also cried out as they thought of the pain that Geum Joo had endured alone.
The people who came were the people of Pocheon village. Ui-jun, Yeong-woong (Park Gang-seop), and Seong-wook (Kang Hyun-suk) bought some meat and went to a fortune-telling parlor that was said to be amazing to read Geum-ju's fortune.
He then excited the mood by saying that he was here to teach Ju-yeop a lesson, and the heavily armed villagers joined him, giving him a cheerful but heartfelt consolation.
The person who protected Geum-ju the most was, by far, Ui-jun.
"It's okay," Geum-ju said bravely, but she shed the tears she had been holding back in front of Eui-jun, who remained silently beside her.
He was kind and caring towards Geum-ju by helping her practically by signing the contract and returning the deposit. As Eui-jun continued to show his consideration in this way, Geum-ju confessed her feelings.
After cutting her losses, she later realized that she had fallen in love with Ui-jun, and his kindness still made her heart flutter, so she asked him not to mislead her any further.
Wijun was unable to tell her true feelings in the end because he was afraid that his missing father would reappear and harm Geumju.
Previously, while he was working at a large hospital in Seoul, his father had been violent towards him. Recently, there had been a series of unexplained incidents, including an unauthorized break-in at his home and an accident involving a truck load, which had caused a lot of anxiety in his heart.
However, a crisis was coming from a direction different from what Wijun had feared. A man blocked the front of Geumju's car, banging on the window with an iron pipe, and a violent scuffle ensued between Wijun and the man.
He was eventually arrested at the scene. It was revealed that the man was the person behind the recent home invasion and loading accident, and that he was an alcoholic patient whom Euijun had treated in the past.
The incident had been resolved, but the atmosphere between Geum-ju and Wi-jung was still tense. After an argument mixed with worry, Geum-ju turned her back on Wi-jung first, and she could not let him go.
Wijun carefully hugged her from behind and continued, "I love you so much." Their relationship went from friends to lovers.
