Kelly Clarkson introduced SEVENTEEN as "the strongest K-pop performers," saying, "They have swept the trophies at numerous awards ceremonies around the world over the past decade.
"They have the highest-selling album in K-pop history," he added. "SEVENTEEN's 'THUNDER' is doing well on global charts."
The song was ranked in the US Billboard Global 200 and Global (excluding the US) charts, and ranked 12th on the Billboard Japan comprehensive song chart Hot 100.
The members took first place on MBC M's "Show Champion" which aired on the 4th of this month, setting their sights on winning trophies on music shows as well.
The results of their 5th full album "HAPPY BURSTDAY" are also dazzling.
"BURSTDAY" sold over 2.52 million copies during its first week of release (from May 26th to June 1st).
