As a result of an investigation into the cause of food poisoning at a food facility, the same genetic type of Salmonella was detected in both the above two products served as school lunches and in the patient suspected of food poisoning.
The recalled product was manufactured by the food manufacturing and processing company "Mother Goose" and distributed and sold by "Foodmass." The product was a "High Calcium Strawberry Cream Roll Cake" that was sold to consumers.
The expiration date for the "High Calcium Domestic Wheat Chocolate Banana Bread" is October 12th, and the expiration date for the "High Calcium Domestic Wheat Chocolate Banana Bread" is September 21st. The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety has requested local governments to promptly recall the products.
They also urged consumers who have purchased these products to discontinue use and return them to their place of purchase.
