Democratic Party: ”We urgently need to find out the truth about the Rebak School incident”... Urgent questioning on the 11th
On the 7th, the Democratic Party called for an investigation into the allegations that the conservative group 'Ribak School' manipulated public opinion and taught far-right ideology.
Roh Jong-myeon, floor spokesman for the Democratic Party of Japan, gave a written briefing on the same day.
"It is not clear how and on how extensively the Rebak School manipulated public opinion, what kind of far-right incitement it used to brainwash children, and who is behind it.
"We must investigate this thoroughly through a fair investigation," the spokesman said. "A large number of promotional materials for the 'election fraud conspiracy theory' were discovered in the Lee School office,
It has also been reported that 11 lecturers from the Korea Neulbom Education Association, which was established by Song Hyo-sook, the president of the Rebak School, have given lectures at educational facilities.
"We will not tolerate any attempts to disrupt society through the manipulation of public opinion or to taint the sacred educational environment with far-right brainwashing, and we will hold those responsible to account until the very end," he added.
Prior to this, the Democratic Party of Korea launched the 'Reece School Comment Manipulation Civil War and Right-wing Education Truth Investigative Committee' to investigate the truth behind the Reece School scandal.
The committee plans to hold an emergency questioning session on the pending issue with Education Minister Lee Juho.
