Two days have passed since police began pursuing a man in his 40s who used a weapon to kill a woman in her 50s who was under protective custody at an apartment in Daegu, and then fled the scene.
According to the Daegu Seongseo Police Station on the 11th, a man in his 50s was killed in an apartment in Dalseo-gu, Daegu at around 3:30 a.m. on the 10th.
A woman, Ms. A, was stabbed with a weapon and was found by her family in a state of cardiac arrest. Ms. A was taken to the hospital and received treatment, but was pronounced dead about an hour later. No monetary or valuable damage was confirmed, and the current situation is unclear.
The murder weapon was not found at the scene. Police are searching for a man in his 40s who is believed to be the prime suspect in this case. Suspect B is currently believed to have left the Daegu area.
The Daegu Police Department requested cooperation from the local police. Prior to this, the police had applied for an arrest warrant for suspect B, who visited A's apartment one month ago and threatened her with a weapon (special intimidation).
