Lee Jae-myung government to use former Blue House official emblem again (South Korea)
The Presidential Office of the Lee Jae-myung administration, which has moved out of the Yongsan Presidential Office and is promoting the return of the presidential office to the presidential office, will resume using the business emblem that was previously used at the Blue House.
On the 13th, the Presidential Office announced, "We have decided to stop using the current Presidential Office business mark, which represents the Yongsan Presidential Office Building, and to resume using the business mark previously used at the Blue House."
However, since the current presidential office is located in Yongsan, Seoul, the name will be changed to "Presidential Office" instead of "Cheong Wa Dae" for the time being until the reversion to the Blue House is complete.
The new business mark will be applied preferentially to the new homepage of the Presidential Office and new business cards for government officials. It will be applied only where necessary to prevent unnecessary budget waste.
In response to this, the government decided not to change or dispose of any existing installations or printed materials that bear the Presidential Office emblem of the previous administration.
