Gen Hoshino's first concert in Korea sells out early...one more show added

Singer and actor Gen Hoshino will hold two consecutive concerts in Seoul.

On the 13th, his agency Amuse announced, “The Seoul concert of ‘Gen Hoshino presents MAD HOPE Asia Tour,’ originally scheduled for September 13th, sold out early, so we decided to prepare an additional concert day to meet more Korean fans.”

This Seoul performance marks Hoshino's first-ever concert in Korea since his debut and is one of the main venues for the Asia Tour “Gen Hoshino presents MAD HOPE Asia Tour.” The tour, which kicked off in Taipei on August 30th and will continue to Seoul and Shanghai, has confirmed two performances each in Seoul and Taipei, generating high anticipation among fans.

In particular, with his recently released sixth album 'Gen', Gen Hoshino showcased an emotional musical world that transcends genres, once again proving his musicality and popularity. The track '2', featuring popular Korean rapper Lee Yoon-ji, and the previously released 'Star' have also received enthusiastic responses from listeners both domestically and internationally.

Having become a representative artist of Japan's music scene with numerous hit songs like 'Koi', he has also made a name for himself in acting, essays, and TV shows, securing a wide fan base. His first Seoul performance is anticipated to be a stage of heartfelt connection beyond music.

“Gen Hoshino presents MAD HOPE Asia Tour” will take place over two days on September 13th–14th at the Olympic Hall in Seoul Olympic Park. Tickets for the additional performance will be sold exclusively through NOL Tickets starting at 6 PM on the 20th.
