[Official] Actor Jung Il Woo to star in 'Gorgeous Days' (working title)...sequel to 'Please Take Care of 5 Eagle Brothers'

Actor Jung Il will star in the new KBS2TV weekend drama 'Gorgeous Days' (working title).

Directed by Kim Hyun-seok and written by So Hyun-gyung, the drama depicts a family melodrama that resonates across generations, exploring the theme of “everyone has their own version of a gorgeous day, whether in the present, past, or future, and how these days are encountered in different ways.”

Jung Il will portray Lee Ji-hyuk, a highly capable individual excelling in both work and love. Lee Ji-hyuk is a leader with a calm demeanor yet possesses a sense of humor. Though he appears glamorous, he has experienced the depths of life and will overcome trials while seeking the true meaning of life.

Since his debut in 2006, Jung Il has demonstrated a wide range of acting skills in various works, including the dramas 'Good Job', 'Possum: The Man Who Stole Love and Destiny', 'The Moon That Embraces the Sun', 'Haechi', 'Cinderella and the Four Knights' and 'The Golden Rainbow', all of which have been well-received by the public.

Additionally, after recently concluding a solo fan meeting in Japan and actively engaging in charitable activities as a goodwill ambassador for the Korean Red Cross, Jung Il's diverse activities across various fields have heightened anticipation for his upcoming work.

Meanwhile, 'Gorgeous Days' (tentative title), featuring Jung Il, is set to premiere in August as the sequel to 'Please Take Care of 5 Eagle Brothers'.
