JAEJUNG officially participates in the ”60th Anniversary of the Normalization of Diplomatic Relations between Japan and Korea” commemorative event
Singer Kim Jae-joong added a special touch to a meaningful event promoting cultural exchange between Japan and South Korea.

Jaejung was officially invited to participate in the “60th Anniversary of Japan-South Korea Diplomatic Relations” commemorative event held in Tokyo on the 19th.

This event was a commemorative reception hosted by the South Korean Embassy in Japan to mark the 60th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Japan and South Korea, with each country hosting one event. Jaejoong attended this important event alongside Hitomi and Mei, members of the girl group 'SAY MY NAME'.

On this day, approximately 800 prominent guests from Japan and South Korea, including Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba who unexpectedly attended, participated in the event. Jaejung delivered a speech commemorating the 60th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Japan and South Korea.

Jaejung stated, “I am deeply honored to be able to attend this important event. The number ‘60’ symbolizes the completion of a cycle in Eastern culture, so I believe this moment today is a precious opportunity for both countries to reflect on their past footsteps and prepare for a new future.”

He continued, “While working in the field of culture and arts, I have received much love and support from both countries. Through this experience, I have come to firmly believe that music and culture serve as a reliable bridge connecting people's hearts across languages and borders. I sincerely hope that both countries will continue to deeply understand and respect each other's cultures, and that especially the younger generations will work together to build a brighter future.”

In connection with this, his agency, iNKODE, stated, “Kim Jaejung is an artist who has been widely loved as a pop culture artist in both Japan and South Korea, so we will continue to strive to play a significant role as a bridge for cultural exchange between Japan and South Korea.”

Jaejung is currently in the midst of a highly successful Asian tour concert titled “Beauty in Chaos” and plans to continue meeting fans through various activities.
