The story depicts the end of the rebellion. Di Xu, surrounded by the rebel army, is determined not to lose his wife again, so he decides to rescue Tei Ran, who has been kidnapped by Suo Lan.
They head out to the palace, but are stopped by the rebels. Fang Zhu rushes in to save Di Xu and the others. However, Di Xu fights the rebels while Pialan is giving birth, and is attacked by Suo Lan. Pialan also saves Di Xu's life.
Fang Zhu killed Suo Lan, and Di Xu entrusted his people and baby to Fang Zhu and died. Fang Haishi captured Tang Qianzi and put down the rebellion, but Tang Qianzi was killed by Tilan.
Upon hearing of the death of the young prince, he committed suicide. The doctor diagnosed that the young prince's life was in danger, and Fang Zhu performed Bai Xi again. Fang Zhu told Fang Haishi that he could not return to Yuezhou, and that Fang Haishi would remain as Lady Huozhu and assist the young prince.
He told them that he needed to do something about it. When Fang Haishi agreed to Fang Zheng's request, Fang Zheng felt relieved and fell asleep on Fang Haishi's lap. Five years later, Fang Haishi told the grown-up prince that he was determined to protect the people.
