The film "My Daughter Became a Zombie" is based on a comic book that depicts the struggles of a father who tries to protect his daughter who has been infected with the zombie virus by trying to turn her back into a human.
Cho Jung Seok has been a powerful actor who has made the "late July movies" hit with the movies "Exit" and "Pilot".
The group has proven its ticket power. "EXIT" attracted 9.42 million spectators, and showed people's humorous wit in the midst of a disaster situation. Last summer, the group performed "Piece of the Dead" which was a Hot Topic hit.
This year, he will be hitting the big screen again with the movie "My Daughter Became a Zombie".
He plays the role of Jeong-hwan, a father who secretly trains his daughter, the only remaining zombie, and shows off his heart-wrenching paternal love as well as his comical acting skills.
Cho Jung Seok confessed, "My daughter is like me, a father who would do anything for her."
Director Pil Kam-seong said, "From the time we were writing the script, I knew that Jo Ji-hyun would play the role of Jeong-hwan.
"I was thinking of Yeong-seok. He moves between comedy and tragedy with ease. His sense of rhythm and spontaneity are superb. His comedy ideas are so brilliant they can't be put into words," he said in praise.
Cho JungSeok's performance will be seen in the film "My Daughter Became a Zombie" which will be shown in Korean cinemas on July 30th.
