SEVENTEEN's DINO to sing theme song for '2025 Esport World Cup'...first K-POP artist

DINO (SEVENTEEN) has become the first K-POP artist to sing the theme song for the 2025 Esport World Cup (hereinafter referred to as EWC).

On the 28th, according to the Saudi Arabia Esport World Cup Federation and his agency PLEDIS Entertainment, DINO joined forces with American hip-hop artist Duckwrth and metalcore band 'The Word Alive' to perform the EWC theme song 'Til My Fingers Bleed'.

The production team, which has led collaborations between games and music by creating numerous theme songs for the 'League of Legends World Championship', including K/DA's 'POP/STARS', oversaw the overall production. The track will be released worldwide on the 30th according to local standards.

Additionally, DINO will take the stage at the opening ceremony of the 'EWC' in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, on July 10 (local time). He will debut the stage performance of 'Til My Fingers Bleed' alongside Duckwrth and 'The Word Alive'. The event will also feature global icon Post Malone as the headliner, so it is expected to generate enthusiastic reactions not only from global gaming enthusiasts but also from music fans worldwide.

The EWC is the world's largest esports tournament, attracting 2.6 million attendees and over 500 million online viewers last year, generating explosive buzz. This year's EWC will take place from July 7th to August 24th in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, with a total prize pool exceeding 70 million dollars, the highest level among international esports tournaments.

DINO has demonstrated his presence not only through his exceptional dance skills but also through his musical abilities, seamlessly transitioning between singing, rapping, songwriting, and composing. In 2023, he released his debut solo mixtape 'Wait', which he co-wrote and composed, showcasing his potential as a solo artist with an aura that blends softness and intensity. The song topped the iTunes Song Chart in 22 countries/regions shortly after its release.

Duckwrth, who collaborated with DINO, is best known for the song 'Start a Riot', featured in the soundtrack of the animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. 'The Word Alive' has also participated in the theme song ‘RISE’ for the 'LoL World Championship.'
