”NCT DREAM” embarks on a journey in a time machine... Trailer for 5th album released

The trailer for NCT DREAM's fifth album has been released.

On the 28th, 'NCT DREAM: We Don't Need Roads' was released on NCT DREAM's YouTube channel, depicting the time travel worldview of their fifth album, 'Go Back To The Future', like a science fiction movie, captivating viewers.

This album unfolds across three time periods: Past, 2025 Present, and the distant future, Absolute Present. In the Absolute Present, the curious and eccentric members of NCT DREAM discover a hoverboard—a time machine—and embark on a journey that transcends the boundaries of time.

In the trailer, the members effortlessly ride the hoverboard, seeking romance that doesn't exist in the Absolute Present, utilizing various futuristic items and transcendent abilities to enhance immersion with an unpredictable charm that disrupts order.

Additionally, this trailer has received official approval from the original creators, including Amblin Entertainment and Universal Studios, the production companies behind the film Back to the Future. It features scenes paying homage to the film, as well as analog-inspired objects, architectural structures that change by era, a sky dyed red, dynamic energy, and pet machines, among other visual elements, to showcase the flow of time and further heighten anticipation for NCT DREAM's time-traveling story.

NCT DREAM's 5th album, 'Go Back To The Future', consists of nine tracks, including the double title tracks ‘BTTF’ and 'CHILLER', depicting the diverse events and emotions encountered on a time-travel journey to find the most brilliant “self.” The full album will be released on various music platforms at 6 PM on July 14th, and the CD will also be released on the same day.
