The 'Dirty Work' remix EP, released today (30th) at 1:00 p.m., features RayRay, Asia's leading DJ and producer who participated in the World DJ Festival in June and once again proved his status as a global DJ, Arkins, an EDM producer who gained attention for his remix of 'Boom Bass' by RIIZE, and 2Spade, a producer and DJ affiliated with ScreaM Records, who is well-known for his diverse remix work on tracks by NCT127 and aespa. Each artist has reinterpreted the original 'Dirty Work' with their unique styles and sounds.
RayRay utilized a cyberpunk-style sound, adding a grand drop reminiscent of club and festival scenes to complete a powerful mood, while Arkins preserved the original track's bouncy plug sound while adding a lighter rhythm to create an energetic atmosphere. Additionally, 2Spade emphasizes the original track's sexy vibe while maximizing speed and tension in the build-up section with motorcycle engine sounds, completing a more intense and danceable remix.
The single 'Dirty Work', released at 1 PM on the 27th, is a dance track characterized by ear-catching synth bass and cool vocal melodies, incorporating a different, cooler and chillier vocal color from aespa's previous intense style. The performance also showcases a diverse range of charms, from energetic movements to relaxed, sexy gestures.
Meanwhile, aespa's new single 'Dirty Work' will also be released in a ring version titled 'Dirty Crew Ring Ver.', symbolizing the bond with their fan club 'MY', on July 4th as a limited edition.
