The late Lee Seong Kyu (INFINITE) and IU's ”My Dear Mister” will be reborn as a play

The TV series "My Dear Mister" will be reborn as a play. "My Dear Mister" was nominated for the TV Nomination for the 55th Baeksang Arts Awards.
Not only did it win the Best TV Series and Main Prize in the Motion Picture category, proving its excellent quality, but it also received a 9.0 rating from viewers on IMDb, making it a well-made masterpiece that has been well-received both in Korea and overseas.
The play "My Uncle," which depicts a character who quietly bears the weight of life on stage, conveys a different emotion through the actors' lively emotions and breathing while retaining the sentiment of the TV Series.
The play will be directed by Kim Jae-yeop, who has received numerous awards, including the Dong-A Theater Award for Best Play and Best Drama.
The cast includes Dong-ha and Park Eun-seok. Lee Jee-an, a 21-year-old who has lost faith in the world and faces unexpected warmth in her cold life, will be played by Kim Hyeon-su and Hong
Lee GyuHan and Yoon Seon Woo were cast as Do Joon-young, a cool-headed businessman who calculates everything, including people and relationships, for the sake of success and power.
Oh Yeon Ah and Jang Hee Jin will star as Kang Yoon Hee, who is caught between cold reason and fluctuating emotions. Heo Young will play Lee Gwang Il, a lonely man who hides his emotional wounds behind violent behavior.
Song, Choi Jung Woo, and Moon Yoo-kang were cast. The role of Jeong Jeong-hee, a traditional and affectionate older sister who gives her everything, even her one meal, is played by Lee Sun-hee and Ji-hoon.
The role of Park Ki-hoon, the kind-hearted younger brother who lives each day with hopeless dreams in his heart, will be played by Lee Won-jang and Byun Jin-soo.
The play "My Uncle" will be performed at the LG Arts Center Seoul, U+ Stage from August 22nd to September 27th.
