Actor Kang HaNeul has been appointed as the official ambassador for the 21st Jecheon International Music Film Festival. As the only music film festival in Asia, it is a three-dimensional intersection of film and music.
The 21st Jecheon International Music Film Festival (JIMFF), which served as a teaser for the festival, has selected actor Kang HaNeul as its official public relations ambassador, “JIMFFACE.”
Kang HaNeul will be participating in various promotional activities for JIMFF, including the official press conference scheduled for August and events during the film festival.
Executive Chairman Jang Han-jun said, "Actor Kang HaNeul has influenced generations with her wide acting spectrum and positive influence across genres such as comedy, action, and romance.
"He has a fan base that exceeds the average," and "will be an ideal ambassador for JIMFF, which encompasses both film and music, and will breathe new vitality into the film festival."
Kang HaNeul said, "I've always loved music and thought of it as an art form that gives me great inspiration for my acting career, so I thought that 'JIMFF' would be a great opportunity to work with film and music in harmony.
"I am truly honored to be able to work with them as an ambassador for the festival," he said. The 21st JIMFF will be held in the Jecheon area from September 4 to 9.
