Talent Park Myung-soo cast in dubbing for the movie ”The Smurfs”... ”Eternal K-Gargamel” makes comeback after 12 years

The “Smurfs the Movie: Parallel Adventure in the Village of Mushrooms,” a fun-filled adventure movie set to hit Korean theaters this summer, has released a character poster featuring Park Myung-soo, a TV personality who has been perfectly transformed into Gargamel, and is attracting much attention.

The “eternal K-Gargamel” Park Myung-soo returns to the world of the Smurfs. The movie “Smurfs the Movie: The Parallel Adventures of the Mushroom Village” is a fun-filled adventure film in which the Smurfs' friends jump into a world of danger to save Papa Smurf, who has been taken away from them, and are reborn as true Smurfs in search of the hidden truth.

Veteran comedian Park Myung-soo has long brought laughter to all generations with his distinctive yelling gags. He has been a popular comedian for a long time, and his parody of Gargamel on the popular variety show Infinite Challenge, as well as his dubbing of Gargamel, the villain who targets the Smurfs, in the 2011 movie 'The Smurfs', attracted attention with his record-setting synchronization rate, giving birth to the formula "Gargamel = Park Myung-su. He will return as “K-Gargamel” for the first time in 12 years through the movie “Smurfs the Movie: Parallel Adventures in the Village of Mushrooms,” armed with a more intriguing story and spectacular attractions.

The character poster released with the comeback of Park Myung-su captures the viewer's attention by contrasting the intense eyes of Park Myung-su, the gargamel who is after the Smurfs, with the image of him holding his beloved cat Azrael in his arms. Park Myung-soo, who is perfectly immersed in Gargamel from head to toe, shows off his true “munchkinam” (a handsome man who looks like he came out of a comic book) charm, and his voice performance is sure to make you burst out laughing just by listening to him. Here, the slapstick chase with the Smurfs and their chemistry with the newly joined villain and Gargamel's brother, Rahzamel, will pique curiosity.

Meanwhile, veteran voice actors including Park Myung-soo have been cast for the Korean dubbing of “The Smurfs: A Parallel Adventure in the Mushroom Village”.

The movie “Smurfs the Movie: The Parallel Adventure in the Dancing Mushroom Village” will be released in Korea on August 6th, and the character posters that preview the activities of “K-Gargamel” Park Myung-su have been released, raising expectations for the movie. The film is scheduled to premiere in Korea on August 6th, 2012.
