”Divorced from YULHEE, not accused of sex trafficking” ”FTISLAND's” Choi Min Hwan resumes social media activity ahead of full-scale comeback

FTISLAND's Choi Min Hwan, who was cleared of prostitution charges, has resumed his social media activity.

On the 11th, Choi Min Hwan posted a photo on his social media account along with the caption “FNC BAND KINGDOM.”

The photo shows five drumsticks, drawing attention. Kang Min-hyuk of CNBLUE, another band under FNC Entertainment, also posted a photo of drumsticks taken from a different angle and tagged Che Min Hwan's account.

Che Min Hwan participated in “FNC BAND KINGDOM 2025,” held at the Makuhari Event Hall in Japan from the 12th to the 13th. This is a family concert featuring all FNC-affiliated bands, including FTISLAND, CNBLUE, N.Flying, Hi-Fi Un!corn, and AxMxP.

Prior to this, Che Min Hwan had already made a comeback stage in Japan in March following a personal scandal. He is also scheduled to make a comeback in South Korea in August. Recently, FNC Entertainment revealed that Che Min Hwan will join the FTISLAND concert scheduled for August 23rd and 24th.

As Che Min Hwan, who had temporarily suspended his activities, is gradually making his comeback both overseas and in South Korea, he has resumed his social media activities. Attention is focused on whether he will reveal his feelings to South Korean fans.

Che Min Hwan married Yulhee, a former member of LABOUM, in 2017 and had one son and two daughters, but they divorced in December 2023. At the time, Che Min Hwan obtained custody of the children, but recently Yulhee filed a lawsuit demanding custody and property division, alleging that Che Min Hwan had engaged in inappropriate behavior during their marriage.

This led to allegations of sex trafficking and sexual assault, but Che Min Hwan was cleared of all charges due to insufficient evidence. He later apologized, stating, “In a situation where the other party's one-sided claims, false facts, and many distorted speculations were spreading as if they were facts, I believed that rushing to clarify my position before any outcome was determined would only worsen the situation.”
