Sports Nippon, Daily Sports, Nikkan Sports, Sports Hochi, and Sankei Sports devoted their front pages on the 12th and 13th to news of Jin's fan concert tour.
This marks the first time that five newspapers simultaneously featured a Korean solo artist on their front pages. On the 12th and 13th, fans flocked to convenience stores near Kyocera Dome Osaka, where the fan concert tour “#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR in JAPAN” was held, to obtain the special edition. Some stores saw the newspapers sell out quickly, reflecting the strong response.
Local media described the concert as a festival created together by the singer and fans, showcasing the deep bond between JIN and his fans (ARMY). The coverage focused on JIN's solo artist persona, including behind-the-scenes details of the tour and the production process of his second mini-album “Echo,” released in May.
Amidst the intense interest, JIN concluded his Japan fan concert tour to great success. The tour took place over four shows in Chiba and Osaka, with all seats sold out for every performance. JIN attracted approximately 130,000 attendees in Japan alone. At the Osaka show, he expressed his gratitude, saying, “Because ARMY exists, I exist. Thank you for coming together as one and enjoying yourselves.”
Meanwhile, JIN continues his fan concert tour “#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR” starting with the June performance in Goyang. On the 17th and 18th, he will kick off his North American fan concert tour at the Anaheim Honda Center in California, USA. He will then meet with audiences in Dallas, Tampa, Newark, London, UK, and Amsterdam, Netherlands.
